Dr. Satish Dhawan Scientist at Liquid propulsion systems centre – ISRO
Dr.B.K. Venkataramu, graduated from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore in Mechanical Engineering in 1976 and later obtained his MS from IIT Madras. He Started his carrier in ISRO, Bangalore in 1977, he was specialized in the field of Propulsion Systems for Spaccraft. He is responsible for total indigenization of propulsion systems for a range of Satellites, for interplanetary mission (Chandrayaan-1 and Mars orbiter mission), Space capsule recovery experiments etc He also played a major role in the success of the Chandrayan -1 & Mars orbiter missions. Presently he is Dr. Satish Dhawan Scientist at Liquid propulsion systems centre – ISRO,Bangalore. His activities include propulsion systems for the Chandrayaan-2 (Moon Lander). During his career, he held various positions as, Deputy Project Director for the remote sensing satellite IRS IC/ID, communication satellites INSAT 3A/GSAT 2, Spacecraft Recovery Experiment-SRE, Group Director & Deputy Director .

Professor Ganapati Panda currently is a Professorial Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. During 2009-13, Professor Panda served as the Deputy Director of this Institute. Prior to this, he was working as Dean (Academic Affairs) and Head, School of Electrical Sciences of this Institute. He also served as Dean (Administration) at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He was a member of Board of Governors of IIT Bhubaneswar and NIT Rourkela. He was the founder Head of School of Electrical Sciences at IIT Bhubaneswar as well as the founder Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering department of NIT Rourkela. He also served as Director of National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur. He also acted as Co-ordinator, World Bank Project at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela.
